Hello!
There are a number of reasons why your vehicle is hesitating to accelerate. It could be dealing with a fuel/air mixture that is too lean, dirty air filters, dirty or damaged fuel injectors, a failing mass air flow sensor, a worn-out gas pedal, worn-out spark plugs, blocked catalytic converters, damaged gas lines, damaged acceleration cables, moisture on the distributor cap, or something else.
It is the sudden jerk or pushing forward of your vehicle that is alarming to you and other drivers in front of you. When your car isn’t operating as it should, we highly suggest visiting an automotive service shop that can get to the bottom of the issue to determine what parts need replacement.
You may check for replacement parts by clicking this link. Just type the name of the part you need in the search bar, and you're good to go. We hope this helps. Drive safely and have a good one!

check your plugs, wires, distributor cap, ckp, pickup coil. Make sure they are clean and tight. If all is well, u could possible have an intake manifold vacuum leak or exhaust leak. U may hear hissing bc of vacuum or excessive exhaust noise from a leak there.
