Hello!
If the engine is run with too low of an oil level, then air can get trapped in the camshaft timing solenoids, causing some faults. Those problems would also tend to cause timing faults, so I would double check the wiring between the camshaft sensor and PCM to make sure that the PCM is receiving the correct signal.
