Hello!
I would check the wiring behind the boot of the camshaft sensor. The insulation often decays and will cause the wires to short together. If that is the case, I would recommend replacing the camshaft position sensor.

I agree with Mitch. I would check for any obvious work or frayed wires, or use your nose and smell for any kind of electrical parts getting too hot. If you want to avoid this, then change the camshaft poison sensor(s), should alleviate your problem. If that fails to fix the issue, I would start checking fuel pressures, coils, plugs, etc. But I am confident changing the CPS will fix your issues.
