Hello!
I would suspect a blend door or its actuator is not working. These are located behind the dash, so it will take some disassembly to identify the root cause of the problem.

I had the same thing happened to me in my Dakota. It was the plastic clip that kinetics the Actuator to the door. Pulling the dash is the only way to fix it. Its not to bad with a little bit of patience. Plan on a day to do it if its your first time.
