Hi.
Does it sound like it's coming from the vents inside the cabin? If that's the case, I'd suspect it's a problem with the blower motor. However, if it sounds like it's coming from the engine compartment, I'd think it's a problem with the A/C compressor.
Can you tell me the size of the engine in your Jeep so I can help you find the right parts?

Blend doors are probably not functioning correctly a lot of times you'll hear a similar sound after the jeep has been turned off it usually takes a couple minutes for it to make that sound the first time mine did it it freaked me out I thought I had a animal under the hood they got trapped because it was cold but it wasn't my blend doors were broken
