Hi,
If you have HID headlights, installing them is pretty much plug and play. But if you have halogen headlights and would want to upgrade to HID, then you'll need a headlight conversion kit. Do you have that on hand? There are many DIY videos online that show proper installation of HID lamps. Might help checking those out. Also, please note that the wiring socket connectors of the halogen lights are different from the HID wiring sockets. Too, HID headlights need a ballast since xenon bulbs eat up a ton of power (i.e., high wattage). Hope this helps!
