Hello! There are sometimes variations in engine parts, especially when from a new generation of the body style. I'm not very familiar with your specific engine, but did you make 100% sure that the mounting points for the transmission and flex disc are exactly the same as the original engine? Also, when pre-installing the torque converter, you should feel it engage twice as you rotate it to make sure that it's fully seated in the transmission. You may have to start removing parts until you are able to rotate the engine to figure out exactly what is causing it not to rotate.
