My 2012 Nissan Versa’ s AC froze up at highway speed. It began blowing less and warmer. This happens in hotter temperatures outside and when it is more humid. Could it be the switch?Cheryl W.Jul 24, 2021
Best Answer:Hi Cheryl, I'm glad to assist you. The 3 main symptons of a bad or failing ac pressure switch are; unable to cool the vehicle, ac system cutting on and off rapidly and ac compressor not turning on. To be accurate on the diagnostic you can have your car checked on an auto repair shop as well. Take advantage of our lowered sale price for this part, click the link below to order this part today. I hope this helps. My question is. My 2013 armada air conditioning stop blowing cold air. I checked fuses, I checked R-134, compressor will manually turn with my hand, power button light will come on, everything works as is should except the compressor will not engage, everything worked perfectly fine yesterday, today no. Old  does this sound like A/C switch ? Your thoughts would be helpful.Randy N.Jul 07, 2020
Best Answer:Hello! You can try removing the connector from the pressure sensor and installing a jumper to see if the A/C compressor clutch engages. That bypasses the switch, and would confirm that it's broken.
